New Family in Need of Prayers

We are new parents (engaged & been together for 8 yrs.) of a six month old boy, Roan. We are in our twenties, are unemployed, uneducated (GED only) and live w/ my mom. And becoming huge burdens on my parents.

We are asking for prayers for us to find work. My fiance', Rod, is going to try to apply to the Army next month and we are praying that he will get excepted. There is so much that the Army offers; education, housing, insurance, etc. It is something we have thought long and hard about and are ready to go forth and try it. We live in a small house w/ my mom and two brothers and it's time we get out on our own. He's been trying to find work but to no avail. We know that w/ a 7.00 an hour job we won't be able to afford a place to live, our expences (baby, etc) and try to go to college. With the Army we would be able to reach our dream of being able to raise Roan, get an education and become independant. We humbly ask to be in your prayers.

Lord you said in your word you have a plan for our life, guide this couple as they go forward. Let them always remember to put God first and all other things will be added. Lord you are so amazing because I know you will take care of this young couple. Help them to find work and a place to stay. We know in the end that you work everything for the good for those who love you. In Jesus name we pray Amen
