Lester was burned terribly in a mining accident. He was welding when a hydraulic jack blew up. He is burned on his face with third degree burns on his arms and hands. He is on a ventilator and the doctors are keeping his sedated. He does look terrible and it was very hard to see him like that, but God is already working in a great way. His swelling is not increasing and he is only on one bag of IV fluids every ten hours. Normally, the nurses say patients receive ten or more per day! He is starting to wake up from the sedation (which is what the doctors want). He is for sure a fighter. Today, the doctor said they will do his first surgery Tuesday on his hands. He is still on the vent. We suspect they will leave him on it through the surgery.
His doctor, who has practiced for over 23 years, said he has not seen so much improvement. PRAISE GOD - Please keep praying...

May he continue to be strengthen in the inner most part of his being. May his family and friends continue to keep the Faith. Give his doctors and others the wisdom,knowledge,and understanding during his surgeries. For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.(Jeremiah 30:17a). Praise God from Whom ALL Blessings Flow. In Jesus Name. Amen

	blacksummer14 3/3/2009 13:00	Lord, I thank you that the man is still alive. I guess that this wasnt his time to go yet. Please help him deal with the pain of badly being bured with third degree burns. Please heal him mentally and phsically. please also heal the woman that he loves mentally tis is an emotional time to see someone like that. she needs your guidence and she needs to know that you are there watching over both of them.

I pray that you fill his body with the strength it needs to heal, and I also pray that you give his loved ones strength to get through this difficult times.
