I am opening this prayer circle for my younger brother Frank who is fighting a battle against the aggression of the effects of diabetes and is losing his sight at 43. His soul and body are in pain.

Dear friends in Christ,I am reaching out for my younger brother Frank. He has been battling diabetes for years now, but it has progressed in a drastic way the last two years. The last two months Frank's sight is worst and now he can't drive. His livelihood (He is a landscaper) is dependent on his ability to drive. His kidneys are getting worse. He is alone in his battle, he is married but we are not certain if she will stand with him through this. He has one teenage son to raise and is spiritually more ill than the diabetes that ravages his body. He feels lost and helpless. Death to him would be a relief from life. Please pray for Frank, that God will intervene into his illness, to stop the progression and that He will provide Frank the comfort to know that life is worth fighting for.

	Summersun 2/4/2009 11:00	Thank you Trueluv, michaela and Carol 2053...I am touched by your kind our reach. Frank is undergoing laser and injections for macula degeneration and bleeding vessels. It will never reverse it, but our prayer is that is at least prolongs the total loss of site. He is fighting hard and despite his wife leaving him the week before Christmas and facing home foreclosure, your prayers and energy are turning his attitude around. I wanted to let you all know that as often we reach out and never know that what we offer in Jesus's name, is true healing and comfort. He does not know I put his story here as he is a proud young man...but I believe that Our Father wants us to take care of each other, His children whom He placed on this earth the dwell until we are called home. May the Lord protect and provide for you special people and to all who post here for comfort and prayer and those who offer their love and concern to send messages of healing and hope. Please continue to keep hm in your prayers. The road is still paved in thorns...but we try to keep his spirit and hope up as this disease has found a wounded spirit to wreak havoc in.
