A Prayer for the Obama Family

Please share your prayers for the Obama family as they mourn the loss of their cornerstone, Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham.

On the eve of the election that may make him the next president of the United States, Senator Barack Obama now must mourn the loss of his grandmother who was one of his biggest supporters during this season. In this time of loss, I pray that Barack and his family would be strengthened by remembering that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Let the family cleave to the wonderful memories they have of Madelyn and may Barack take comfort in knowing that his grandmother is watching him from above and will be praying for his strength on tomorrow going forward. Let all those who will pray for the strength and courage of Barack Obama in the hours to come.

	Merlock 11/3/2008 21:23	If Obama loses tomorrow, it will be like a double blow; if he wins, it seems extra tragic that Madelyn died hardly more than 24 hours too early. In any event, may God bring Madelyn to dwell with Him, and bless the whole extended Dunham family for the best. Amen!

	justifiedbygrace 11/4/2008 10:14	Dear God, Even though I want McCain to win the election Obama is not exempt from my prayers. Lord, he is still human and needs your comfort for his family's loss. Lord, I'm not sure who will win the election but God I pray that it'll be a saved man b/c it truly is the end times that your precious Word tells us of and we need someone to stand up for you and take America back! God I don't see any signs of Obama being a saved man so I ask you to prick his heart and convict him of his sins and trust only in the saving blood of Jesus Christ to take him to Heaven. Lord, so many people are deceived by Satan about their soul and I pray for each person that is God. Thank you so much for saving me in March 2005. Father, my heart goes out to Obama and his family. Please remember my prayer and the prayers of others Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
