Prayer of Peace

I shed tears with joy when I read this poem first.
With the hope of peace, I post this "Prayer of Peace".

I offer this prayer of peace
To declare a revolution
Of the human spirit
I wish to announce that
It is now time
For all of us to spiritually awaken
And become enlightened
That the time for the enlightened few is over
That the age of elitist enlightenment has passed
For how long do you seek to wait for prophets
To come down from mountaintops
And tell us what to do
We all must become enlightened
To recognize our divinity
To raise up our consciousness
And proclaim our independence
From blind reliance on long ago sages
And find the answers from our own well
Of spiritual wisdom
We must ourselves become the enlightened ones
We must ourselves realize our Oneness
I declare that we must all become "earthlings"
Of the earth
And not of any religion, nation, or race.
But of this earth, for this earth, and by this earth
To create a lasting peace
On earth.

I offer this prayer of peace
With all my fellow "earthlings"
For a lasting peace on earth.

	kind6004 4/17/2001 18:25	Lord God, I thank you for your peace that passes all understanding your word says that you will keep us in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee. Lord I thank you because you do not offer the kind of peace the world offers the drugs or the alcohol, the temporary peace. But your Peace is everlasting and eternal, and it is perfect. Lord I pray for the peace of Israel and and the city of Jerusalem. Heavenly father, I thank you for preparing a kingdom for us. Where you will light the city. And there will be no studying of war no more. Lord I thank you for allowing me to stand still and see the benefits of your being my keeper. I pray for the peace of this world. Lord allow those who have not yet come into a saving knowledge of Jesus, time to answer his knock. Lord thank you for loving us and making us the kind of people you are calling for in these last and evil days. All these and other blessings I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

	dennis01 4/18/2001 20:35	many choose to continue to sleep despite ever frequent wake up calls. What were the prophets to do given the widespread desire for illusions of the ego ? Nevertheless, I pray thusly Heavenly Spirit of Wonderous and Marvelous Peace, in Jesus name Your unfathomable Grace not of this world is the source to which I call for peace. May your peace which includes everything within it dwell within us in this expanding circle May we learn and discover just how valuable this peace is to our whole life. May we rest in this peace unconditionaly and come to see its true meaning.
