Prayer Circles

Dear Daniel,
Do you remember an African Bishp named Father Andrew Adano Tuye from Northern Kenya? He passsed in a helicopter crash in 1996. But his ife's deeds continue to give.

He comes from the Gabbra--the very poor nomads who live in a very harsh climate. His very impoverished beginings couldn't compare to the richness of his faith. He became a priest and was so good at it that he was offered many fancy churches to run. But he wanted to go back to his people--the Gabbra.

People were stunned that this shining star would go to what they saw as "nowheresville". The presiding Bishop shook his head and asked what he needed up there in nowhere! He asked only for a camel and a tent. Well in a miracle a congregation all the way in Canada sent money for a camel and a tent. He had all he needed and went home and brought hope and Jesus Christ to his people there.

His autobiography is called "The Gospel on a Camel's Back" I know that you are a blessed soul and God asks a lot of those who believe and who are as devoted as you are. Just like Father Adano, God has given you your own flock (your family group) to minister to. You are so burdened by the pressure of meeting their material needs. And I understand this. But what they really need from you is to share your faith, hope love--and you have so much of that to give. I believe that the material aid will come when you put those needs aside and focus on what you can do which is to love them. You are so rich!!!!

This whole family is lucky to have you as a role model who never let hard times stop him from loving each and everyone of them. Jesus and the angels are with you every minute especially when you feel you lonliest and most desolate. They are giving you strength. Truly, by serving your family heaping plates of love you are serving us all.

How about that! You asked us to lift you up when you have been lifting us up for the past 27 years by just being here on this planet!
