Healing Prayers

On May 25th, 2008 a tornado struck Hugo Minnesota and took the Prindle family home. Our friend Christy and Jerry lost their two year old son Nate. Their 5 year old daughter sustained a serious brain injury.

Christy Rhea-Prindle has been my daughter's mentor for the past severalyears. Christy has boundless patience and energy. When Christy married Jerry Prindle he was truly her match in acceptance and patience with my daughter. As a single parent I couldn't hope for better people to help me with the struggle of raising a child alone. Soon Christy and Jerry were blessed with children of thier own. The first child is a delightful girl named Annika who has been a brilliant light in everyones life since the day she was born. A couple years later along came little Nate, who was as his name suggested, a gift from God.

The tornado changed all of our lives a month and a half ago. Nate's injuries were too severe for him to survive. Annika is struggling to recover from brain injury and is currently not able to speak or see. She is undergoing a lot of physical therapy and often seems to be having a hard time grasping what happened to her.

	flower123 7/7/2008 18:01	May angles hold you an your family in there arms I cant imagine how hard this is to bare, but know this your not alone some days may be rougher than others I know to see everything took away in a blink of an eye an no warning trust me have faith an hold strong alot of crying an praying helps I know what it is like to feel hopeless an just want to give up, but you cant because God has not given up,I know somethings are not fair in this life, but it is not God who does these things honey the devil is very busy an you cant let him win fight,fight,fight I will keep you in my heart an prayers.
