Prayer Circles

Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up Ali to you right now, hoping that you will see her desire to be right in your eyes. Lord deliver her from her addictions, or send someone to guide her to the freedom and happiness she deserves. I also ask for you to help her find work, so that she can provide for her family. Please also bestow in her husbands heart the forgiveness when he comes to know of her problems, like you have forgiven us Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Don't fall in despair and panic! That is not helpful! Calm down. At least you are still alive. So now you figured out that gambling produced you only problems. It is good that you get to that conclusion! That was the first step. Now you have to repair what you have done. Go and get 2 jobs and put money back. Read all newspapers from your area and take any kind of job will be offered to you! Go everywhere and ask for job! Apply on internet; put your resume online on monster, search job on google in your living area. Ask friends to help you to get a job where they work. Go to governmental or private agencies and seek jobs! Do whatever to get at least a job, urgently! Ask at stores, at hotels, at restaurants, or even at churches if they hire people. You will find work and you will see how hard is to earn money and you will not feel you will want to bet again. And more than that, working lot, will keep you away from having time to bet. Move fast and get at least a job as soon as you can, so even later your husband will find out what happened at least he will see you try to fix things!
Just work and you will have a great future. You will see!

May God help you. May He aid you and your husband through this, bringing you closer rather than farther through troubles; may He give you the strength to resist unwise urges; may He aid you financially and everything. Amen!

(P.S.: One strategy that may help you resist gambling---however you gamble, be it on your computer or by driving to a casino or whatever, put something there that will stop you from gambling. For example, a picture of yourself and your family, to remind you that every time you gamble, you're hurting them. If possible just stop using your medium of gambling completely. May God bless!)

Ali, I pray for you in this time. God is merciful and will never have you face anything so much so that you will not be able to handle it. Your husband will be at your side. Never underestimate what people know and do not know. Often God suprises you on what you have predicted will happen. I have learned first hand from God often, that what I think, is far from what God has planned for me. This will be true for you. I pray that you will come to a quiet place and pray and meditate for God to take your burden lift it and place it far away. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.

Beloved Creator, please surround Ali with your presence and protection. Each time Ali is tempted, please send a loud and loving reminder to stop the addiction and help Ali heal from the addictions. Bring support and caring people into her life that will show her love and encouragement. Help her family to stand by her and help support her to overcome her problem.

Beloved One, I know you sit in the center of Ali's heart offering her the wisdom, guidance and strength she cries out for. I know that nothing is stronger than your love. I know that the needs these addictive compulsive behaviors can never fulfill are, through your love and grace, now healed. I give thanks for the help, support, understanding, and forgiveness that you give to her and her family. I know she feels your presence right here and now. She steps out confidently moment by moment to demonstrate her confidence in your guidance and her power to make wise choices that will transform her life. And so it is, Amen.

I am bipolar, I moved back to OR to be closer to my family and a support group. The greatest event in my life the past year is I become much closer to God. It seems I'm constantly in prayer for my family. I have been diagnoised with a mental disorder, yet I find family may be sicker than I. Please pray for all of us. My Mother, Sister, nephew, Daughters, and Grandsons. The stress of their unbelievable behaviors has started me on my little uncontrollable road to a depressive moodswing. God Bless You All.
