I understand the frustration, but isn't just being happy with herself is what God wants us to be? Granted its not the lifestyle that you or your family like from her - but she is the one that has to live her life and speak to God when her time is there? I say this with nothing but love, believe me. I have had many friends in the same situation that you are in. May God give all of you and your family peace at the same time for your Niece.

pray to God for guidance. not so much for Melissa, but for your own peace. This is her life, and you must find a way to be comfortable with it.
My Brother is living a Gay life, and yes it did distance the family, but with prayer and understanding the road has become a little smoother.
Lord touch this family with direction and understanding

THE BIBLE LETS US KNOW THAT HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN AND THAT THE LORD DOES NOT SUPPORT IT IN ANY WAY. I'M SURE YOU LOVE YOUR NEICE VERY MUCH, ITS THE LIFESTLYE SHE PRACTICES THATS UNBEARABLE. CONTINUE PRAYING AND STANDING UP FOR WHAT HIS RIGHT(NOT HOMOSEXUALITY). SUCH IS NOT WORTHY OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. ROMANS 1:28-32 GOD BLESS YOU.

Melissa, I pray for you...to be released from the judgement of your "professing christian" relatives who refuse to heed the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are to love one another and judge not lest we be not judged. I pray for them to be released from their excessive concern about your choice of underwear. They are very judgemental people, just as were the ones who wished to stone the adulteress. Jesus never spoke about sexual orientation...only the pharisees who ordered him killed did. If you are truly a lesbian, either opt for celibacy or a committed, totally monogamous relationship, as our Lord suggested for all. May God forgive your judges, for they know not what they do. In making you last, they now make you the first to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. God bless and protect you.

Dear Father, I have to agree with Appleofgodseye. You did say in yor word what kind of relationship man and woman are suppose to have and I agree with her in pray for Melissa Niece. I also pray that you can encourage Melissa and give her the right words and pray to say. In Jesus Name

Father God, I pray for Melissa's salvation and deliverance. I thank You for drawing her close to You and for softening her hardened heart so You can mold it. Send godly people in her life to remain in her life...to mentor her and minister to her. I thank You that she will come to know who she really is. Give her dreams and visions of what You want her future to be. May she fall in love with those dreams/visions...but more importantly, may she fall in love with You and desire to have a relationship with You. I speak death to the spirit of lesbianism and I curse it at the root and command it to die and never spring forth life again, in the Name of Jesus. I thank You that she has NO fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. I thank You for removing all negative influences from her life and for tearing down all strongholds. I thank You that she IS (not will be) an awesome woman of God. May Your Will be done, Lord. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.
