Rachael and Stephanie Works
Victims of random violence in Colorado

Killed by a gunman at their church in Colorado Springs.

Yesterday, two senseless acts of violence took place in Colorado, possibly caused by the same person. Several people were shot at a dormitory just outside of Denver and at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. At New Life, two people died from their wounds: sisters Rachael and Stephanie Works, ages 18 and 16. God, we ask that you go to their parents and family in this time of need. Send them comfort and strength in these dark hours. God, let the people of Colorado and our nation sense your presence when they are afraid, and trust that you are with them even in "the valley of the shadow of death." As more news and updates come out of Colorado, help us all to understand why random tragedies happen to good and innocent people.
