Father, son, brother, childrens church teacher.

Gil is my brother who was in a terrible motorcycle accident. The injuries are healing but now pnemonia has set in and he is close to death. He's only 40yr. old and has a 8yr daughter to raise. Please pray for him to recover.

Merciful Jesus, during Your life on earth You showed great concern for the sick and the infirm. Have compassion now on my brother Gil who is sick and in pain. Grant him a healing of mind and body and restore his strength in spirit. Comfort him with the knowledge that we are praying for him, and give him peace with a sense of Your Presence. May he know that in a special way he is united with You, his suffering Christ. May he contribute to the welfare of the whole People of God by associating himself freely with Your Passion and Death for the salvation of the world. Bless, too, those who take of the sick. In their own times of need, bestow on them a hundredforld the blessings they have given to others. Amen.
