Lady Bird Johnson
A prayer for the family and friends of Lady Bird Johnson

Former First Lady, Lady Bird Johnson the widow of Lyndon B. Johnson

Heavenly Father,

It is with deep sorrow that I come to you on behalf of those who are mourning the death of Lady Bird Johnson. She touched the heart of so many people with her kindness and concern for the beautification of our country. By your grace she was ready and willing to serve alongside her husband, the late President Lyndon B. Johnson, when he succeeded John. F. Kennedy. It was with that same grace that she stood after he went home to you. I thank you because you gave her a name that would forever be etched in our minds. You gave her character that endured through many trials and you gave her a beautiful spirit that inspired many. Father, I thank you for the memories and I pray that you would help her family and friends to rest on those memories to get them though this hard time. Give them perfect peace as they enter into this season of grief. And may they find divine comfort in the fact that Lady Bird Johnson has mounted up with wings like an eagle to go home to you.

In Jesusí Name, Amen

JOHN 14:26-27

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid In The Name Of Jesus Amen.

"Nothing is ever wholly lost. That which is excellent remains forever a part of this universe". R.W. Emerson

She was an excellent lady, in the truest sense if the word.

Her energy has returned to the universe from where it came.
