Prayer Circles

May the family, epsecially his wife, be sustained during this difficult time. May they be able to rely on friends who are honest with them and do not desert them. May the truth set them free--

In the name of Allah the Father, the Most Gracious Son, the Most Merciful Holy Spirit, I prayed that the Holy Spirit will guide pastor Haggard and his family to renewal and greater strength and relationship as a family and with God. We all fall short of the glory of God. We are not God. Just remember King David's sin. To sin is human, but to promote sin is evil. God's people get closer to God with every problem (there is the up & down too). That's what the Holy Spirit is for, to wash and continuously improve us toward God's holiness. Lean on Him always. May God bless you always.

May Mr.Haggard learn the power of compassion and tolerance toward people of different beliefs and persuasion. May God grant him wisdom.

What a burden you must have been carrying, Mr. Haggard. Let this tragedy be a lesson to those who are so quick to zone in on homosexuality, all the while pretending that other sexual 'sins' don't exist. Do you really think Mr. Haggard would choose this?

To Mr. Haggard and your family, I'm praying for you. I hope you find peace.

May God Bless You and may you find the strength and wisdom to forgive yourself. For, God already has forgiven you!

Lord you said you cause everything to work together for the good to those that love you and called according to your purpose. Bring a spiritual awakening to your Church of the things that Jesus taught. He said that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all Truth. Use this moment for your glory. In Jesus name, amen.

Father, rescue Ted an his family from the domain of darkness in this situation and bring them into the Kingdom of your Son whom you love. Blessed are you Lord, that you do not treat us as our sins deserve. As far as the east is from the west, reove all of our sins from us and restore us to peace and joy in you. Let each day bring word of your unfailing love to Ted and his family.

May Mr. Haggard be blessed for bringing such an opportunity to the world to practice compassion, forgiveness, and humility in our spiritual lives. It is easy to offer judgment; difficult to offer grace. May we thoughtfully reflect and choose the road less traveled by in our collective response. And may Mr. Haggard and his family and friends find love and strength in unexpected places during the days and weeks to come.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us!

Please Lord, heal this man from the sin he embraced and strengthen his family. Bless his wife and move on the hearts of your people to proclaim a new era of returning holiness and purity to marriage and personal behaviors.

Use Ted Haggard, once he is returned to leadership qualification, to turn people in the Church away from corrupting sexuality away from the love of a man and a woman in the bonds of a Godly marriage.

I pray that people will stop running from themselves, from denying their nature. I further pray people will take a long, hard look at their delusions -- including the very reason for writing on this forum -- and read Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion, for starters... They may find their faith exists for all the wrong reasons.

May Rev. Haggard find peace within himself, learn to love the gift of his sexuality which G-d has given him, and get help for his drug abuse. May his family be strengthened, and may they learn to accept their father's sexual identity, even if he chooses to remain faithful to his wife, honoring his commitment. May all people soon understand the true nature of homosexuality as a natural occurence, and learn to be compassionate, understanding, just and loving to all. May we all live in peace, and without judgment of one another. May we all learn from our own mistakes.

Heavenly Father,
Please blanket this family with your awesome love and grace. Stay close with them, O Lord, as they struggle through these difficult days. Let them feel the peace and comfort of Your Holy presence, and let the knowledge of Your precious love sustain them. Deliver them through this fire, so that their faith may be refined. These things I ask in the mighty name of Jesus,

Father, you know the heart of Ted and you know that he has been under an overwhelming and dark burden..but I ask you to remember the work he has done to bring your kingdom into the hearts of so many people. Look kindly on him and his family. Bless each one of them. Protect Gayle and the children from the human fallout that will surround them over this and may your love cover them completely. Remind everyone Lord that we are all sinners dependant upon your mercy. Give this family and his church family all the strength, compassion and love that they will need to come through this storm. Use this family as an example of your healing love. I ask all of this in Jesus name...amen.

Father God, please shield Ted, Gayle and their children at this dark hour. May we not judge him, only you have the power to do that, not us, the media, etc... Lord I pray that you give them strength, wisdom, and meet all of their needs in this dark hour.
May your mercy and grace give them strength in the days to come. May we all remember what is in the God's word regarding Moses, Peter, David, Solomon and take this time to remember that we all are sinners and fall short of God's glory. I pray Heavenly Father, that you remember all the good that this man and his wife have done for Your Kingdom. Help us all to remember repentence and humility at this time and not to let our carnal ways and give Satin power at this time of trouble. Help us to show the world the power of your love, mercy, and grace in this time of darkness and let us show that Your Glory will bring us through this and Your Kingdom will become bigger and stronger than ever. Lord God, please protect Ted, Gayle, and their children from all the carnal things to come. May the Blood of Jesus cover them and protect them as they go through these trying times. May your love cover them, their church members, and all Christians and let us all remember that what satan uses to harm us, that You Lord, will change it to bring an abundance of good. Bless this family and give them strength to overcome these tests and during these trying times. Show us all, Father, and give us all guidance during these trying times.
