Joseph Gibbs
Soldier, U.S. Army -deployed in Iraq

Pray for the safe return of my son-in-law, as well as those in his charge.

Dear God,

I so respectfully ask that you hear the prayers of all of the mothers, fathers, wives, children and friends with loved ones in the military. Keep all those deployed in far away places safe from harms way. Bring peace to our soldiers by letting them know they are loved and supported back home. Help them understand the things they see and hear. Help them deal with their consciences that carry so much baggage of their orders. Give them the strength to do their duties to the best of their abilities and beliefs.

Thank you and Amen.
