The bible says God will save your house hold. Please wait some more, I been waiting for my husband to be saved. He's not saved yet, However, he has quit drinking, cussing, running around, so God is working. It seems to be taking a while, but its worth it to see him praise God with me some day, for if I leave him now, he will never find god I fear. He is good to me. Other women say I'm nuts to want to leave him since he is a good worker, a good father and so on. If you can, wait a little longer, that is if your husband still loves you. Yours Kindly

Kania -- I too have suffered in silence as I was being abused -- I tried prayer, church, and Scripture to help me find the answers to the abuse cycle -- Went to Christian counceling and found human solutions to pain that I could not get out -- Divorce is not what God seeks, nor is abusive relationships -- God seeks to have fellowship with us and to lead us into His presence -- Kania, I have learned that true healing does not come with changed circumstances but with renewed and transformed hearts -- And I am not just talking about your husbands -- I am taking baby steps to learn how to put my every hurtful, fearful, angry, thought and action unto obedience of Jesus Christ --You may get divorced, but until you learn how to renew your mind the pain and wrong habits will be there -- I have become like my abuser in so many ways, but my human heart justifies so well -- I wanted someone to hear my pain and my actions showed this -- But until I learned how to exchange my life for Christs I kept on in the cycle of abuse -- I'm having to purge my entire self out so that Christ can be my all --I cannot do that in my own strength -- The man I was involved with did many wrong things, and God has shown me in His mercy and grace that when I look at the 'wrong things' I fail to see the truth of what Christ has done for me -- I exchanged the truth with lies and I am not even aware that I am doing it -- I will pray for you and pray that our Heavenly Father with open your heart and eyes and that He will give you His strength to begin renewing your mind

I truly believe there are Angels Among Us! God will, and as you've already stated, walk beside you to guide you through you decision. One day, he will show your husband the true path to his destiny. I too, just left my husband of 21 years. My heart goes out to you. Dear Lord, pray with me to keep her Faith going as she watches over her children. Thank you.

1 Corinthians 7:10-15
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the LORD, Let not the wife depart from her husband;but and if she depart let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband and let not the husband put away his wife but to the rest speak I not the LORD if any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him let him not put her away. And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her let her not leave him for the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife and the unbelieving wife is sancitified by the husband else were your children unclean but now are they holy.

I am in the same place you are after 16 years of marriage. Keep your faith strong and God's will be done. Listen for signs from God, he always listens. Even if it from your heart. I will be praying for you.
