Struggling with drug addiction, depression, and his faith.

Please pray for Ty- he is really struggling and needs support. I am not allowed to talk to or see him until he is sober for a year. I can only pray for him, so please help.

Ty is 19 years old and is my best friend and ex-boyfriend. We dated for 7 months, but had to break up because his AA sponsor told us that he couldn't be in a relationship until he has a year of sobriety. We are not allowed to talk or see each other until then. He last used crack around a week ago, and is so depressed that he is having suicidal thoughts. He is hanging out with people that he has used with in the past. He isn't calling his AA sponsor, but he is going to AA meetings (I think). I only know what I hear from his mom and few others. He lives with his parents- it is not a good environment. He accepted Jesus into his heart, and was baptized with me, but is struggling with his faith as well. He borrows his parents car, and doesn't have enough money for his own place or his own car. Of course I want him back- I love and miss him so much. But more importantly, I just want him to be sober, happy, and close to God.

Draw Ty closer to You, soften his heart and open his ears to listen to Your words of wisdom and love. Pour out Your blessings on him. Bless the family's finances so that they can afford to pay their bills, any medical treatments and enjoy life. Bless them with good friends, surrounding them with kind and encouraging people.
