Ending school bullying, shootings, knifings, bombings, etc.

Let's come together from all religious traditions and pray to end the rash of violence in our schools, from hazing and bullying all the way to shootings and potential bombings of children by other children or anyone.

There has been an increasing cycle of kids hurting and killing other kids. Troubled youth, some of whom have been bullied or otherwise abused either by other youth or adults, are engaging in copycat behaviors, idolizing the tradegies of Columbine and other places.

Let's pray to put a stop to these killings AND to their causes, and then to their effects, including psychological damage in those youth who witnessed the violence and were harmed by it, and those youth comtemplating their own rampages.

May the angels take charge and protect, enlighten and heal our youth, and stand guard with rings of divine Fire around our schools and our children. Amen.

	purplelotusheart 3/10/2001 15:58	Buddhist Mother of mercy, Kuan Yin, Mother of mercy to all beings, take all youth contemplating or planning violent acts toward their fellow students or teachers and hold these troubled youth in your Heart of mercy. Stop those who bully and abuse other kids--extinguish their rage and cruelty of word and deed by pouring your water of compassion and kindness on their flames of rage. Do this for all youth in our schools troubled by violent thoughts and impulses, and let these tradegies cease! I thank you for your endless grace. So be it!

Quiet troubled hearts, open closed minds, heal physical and psychological wounds and give us, your children,the tools with which to help you do this work. You, Jesus,are the One to heal us, and I ask that You use those of us who know Your love to minister to those who need that knowledge. Through You all things are possible, and we can do anything. 	shaunee 3/6/2002 10:31	Heavenly father, I pray right now that school violence will end. Lord, please just allow some of these children that are performing these violent acts to be saved. Lord, bless them with love and caring people. Just allow them to cross the path of someone that will witness to them and show them how good our Lord and Saviour is. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
