comfort the hearts of those who grieve and strengthen and give courage to the rescuers.Support and encourage those who await word on the fate of their loved ones.might you be their inspiration and comfort.touch the sick and injured and grant them new health and a speedy recovery.
might all be closer drawn to thee during this time of discouragement and heart break.
thank you Lord for the opportunity we have to seek thy help at such a tragic time knowing you will never fail us in any circumstance of our lives.bless these people and may they keep true to the faith.

Dear Lord, please comfort those that are grieving the loss of loved ones from the earthquake in Java. Draw them closer to You and show them Your love. Please protect the rescue workers from harm. Bless the charity and government staff who are helping the community to be housed and fed. Bless the medical staff that are looking after the injured, strengthen their will and courage to cope. Thank you Lord. I pray this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord - Many souls have been killed, injured and traumatized by an uncontrollable force of nature. There is fear and grief in its aftermath. You are the Great Healer of all. I ask you gather them in your healing embrace. Watch over those rushing to give aid and comfort to those affected by this tragedy. Bring quiet to the restless forces if nature, so that the process if healing can begin. - Amen

And please in this time bless also all the living victims, people who are now without homes, livelihoods and loved ones, with comfort, aid, protection and all Your Blessings of Love. Please bless those who are still in danger---those who are lost in the rubble dying, send to them Your Strength and angels, of spirit and of flesh, to find and aid them. Send food and shelter to those in need, and protect them from disease or further disasters that may occur. Please in all ways bless these people, and use us as Your tools to help them; hope our hearts and let Your Love flow to the helpless, and help all of this and all situations for the best, including other disasters, and thank You for Your countless blessings, hidden and seen, in this and all things.
