Ovidio Pires
Father-in-Law undergoing dangerous surgery

Fellow bretheren and members of Beliefnet, I come to you this saturday morning to ask for your prayers for a member of my family.

My Father-in-law is an elderly man of 64 years, who suffers from diabetes. Two days ago he suffered a fall and fracture the condyle of teh dystal femur and must undergo immediate surgery within 4 days.

The surgery has a higher risk associated with it due to his age, diabetes, ostheoporosis of the leg bone, and a cardiac condition acquired over the years.

Provided the surgery goes well, there will still be the problem of a long and taxing post-op period, physiotherapy and recovery.

We as a family are united in our prayers but we know in our hearts that every prayer counts, so we come to this community now, to ask for your support and preyers in this most difficult of times.

You have our sincerest of thanks!
