A prayer for an abusive, angry, lost soul

I wanted to start a prayer circle to help my 20year old brother who is abusive and angry toward my family, espeically his mother.

My brother has a very bad temper and a very short fuse. His whole life he has mentally abused my mum by taunting her and getting angry at her for no reason everyday. He causes countless fights in the home which is tearing the familly apart. He has given my mother so much grief in her life she doesn't deserve. She has already escaped a mentally abusive husband now she is stuck with her son doing the same. He seems to only care about noone but himself. We have tried to help him but nothing works. I ask for you to help us pray for Johnny that God helps him to change his ways toward my mother. He has ruined our family relationship with all his abuse. Please help us by asking God to help him. We all love him but I am very afraid for my mothers health if this behaviour continues.

Dear Jesus, please send Johnny his guardian angel to guide him, to teach him and show him ways to deal with his anger, show him that anger, disrespect and abusive behavior is not the way to get positive attention. Help him take note of his behaviors and get the help that he needs so that he can be a caring son and joy to his family who despite his behaviors are there for him and only want the best for him. God grant this family happiness through the changes that I know Johnny can make happen through your intercession. Amen.
