Kara,please remember what I said on your coping site.. I really meant every word of it. You're a strong woman.. and even though you may be 600 miles away from you family.. you can beat him at his own game... you can handle any thing thats being thrown your way.. you know you can. I used to think that dying would ease all my pain.. heck, I've even attempted it once or twice.. but in the end.. I only whinded up hurting the ones I loved, and myself even more. You have 5 baby girls that need you, and look up to you... if you go, they'll be with their father guaranteed.. Do you want that? I know you don't.. what mother would. Be strong sweetheart... you're a survivor I know you are. We'll figure out a way to get you out of there. I promise.. and I don't make promises that I can't keep. I'm going to start gathering information, and i'll get back to you with it... ok?

Hi Kara,

Just wanted to check up on you, and see if you're managing ok. I know you're having a rough time, but please try to keep your chin up.. and know that if you have a strong enough desire you can and will get you and your children out of there.

I'm keeping my promise to you. I called up my cousin and found out a national listing that can really help you and your children. The website is www.batteredmothers.org... I know it sounds a litte scary.. but it really isn't.. everyone there is really nice. What they do is call local shelters in your area, on your behalf and find out where they are located, and their availabilty and if they will be able to provide you and your family with the necessary resources to get a fresh start. They then help you find adequate living quarters once leaving the shelter, and employment, childcare, etc etc. They have a number on there it's a 24-hour crisis line. Please give them a call. Again, I have already called and spoken with someone and they are waiting for your call whenever you are ready. :) Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers!

Dear Lord,
I'm not sure of Kara Wilke's current situation, but You know Lord. Please protect Kara and all those in a troubled relationship from harm. Strengthen their will and courage to face their everyday struggles. Show them Your love and comfort them. Pour out Your blessings on them and their families. Bless their finances so that they can afford to pay their bills, medical treatments and enjoy life. Bless their employment and educational endeavours. Bless them with good friends, surround them with kind and encouraging people. Heal their bodies and minds of whatever ails them, make them well and healthy again. I also pray for their abusers, dear Lord that You will soften their hearts and open their ears to Your wise and loving words, that You will turn them away from hurting others. Thank you Lord. I pray this in Jesus' name, amen.

Dear God,

I ask this in Jesus' name. Please be with Kara and her children and protect them from all harm. God, you say in your word that you will take care of our enemies, please I ask that you take care of Kara's enemy, that you remove him from her life for I know that only you can do this. Please give her the strength and courage that she needs to get out of that lifestyle. God, only you know how she feels and only you know how to remove it. So I ask you with my complete heart that you do this for her and her family. Please rescue them. In Jesus' name I pray.
