Prayer Circles

Please God, I have been trying so hard since the accident to fill your ears with millions of prayers for my son. I know that many many people have taken the time to offer him up to you for healing and delivery. I apoligize that I am greedy and that I want many many more prayers for him. The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, I am Lord, I am. Please direct others to this site so that more will pray for Roy. I will continue to seek out others who have not had prayers listed for them. Dear God, please, you are our only hope, please free my son. In the name of Jesus our saviour, I pray.

Lord Jesus, I pray that You will intervine in this situation with Roy. Lord, You know the path that You have chosen for Roy. I ask that You will lead, guide and direct everyone involved in this problem and that Your perfect will be done. Jesus, I pray that you will make Yourself known to Roy and let him feel Your presents. I ask that You supply his every need and give him Your peace that passes all understanding. I also pray that You will bless this precious mother. Give her Godly wisdom and peace as well. Lord, I pray that You will heal the physical and emotional pain of this accident. And that some way You will use it for Your honor and glory. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen.

Peace37, I thank you for your prayers because I too need them. My husband may soon be going through by-pass surgery again on his left leg. He has hardening of the arteries and has already gone through two surgeries on his right leg. He will be seeing the surgen Wednesday the 18th so please pray for him as well.
I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your son but I know that God will help him through it all. What ever you do, don't give up. This is a spiritual battle and we will not let the enemy win.

Lord Jesus I pray that You will give Roy and his precious mother the strength and courage that they need to get through this battle. I pray that You will help Roy to focus on You and not on the problems. Help him to have total peace that You will take care of everything. Jesus, I thank You for hearing and answering our prayers.

To all concerned: Please continue the prayers. Tonight I am sick at heart. The appeals court will not overrule the trial court decision. The intention is to take my son in a few weeks to prison. My son says he will not go. His medical needs are horrendous and I think he fears this more than anything. I am trying to keep us all strong. I know God is there but I truly do not understand.

Dear Peace37 - My heart was so sad for you when I read about your news. But immediately, the spirit moved in me and told me to tell you that NOW is the time for great faith. All earthly resolutions may seem exhausted - but let us not forget about the Divine. I firmly believe, that God does his best work, when all hope appears lost. Now is the time for you to be strongest in faith, to stand firm in your believe that God will provide and His Will will be done. Also, I believe you need to look at the situation as an opportunity to help others. Can your son's story be told? Have you shared his plight (espeically his medical needs) with the local media? The national media? The State's government? Your State Representative? Maybe your son's story being told will help lots of others. Perhaps it is a story that needs to be told to bring resolution. Whatever you do, remember two things. NEVER give up faith and do all that you do for God's glory. You and your son will remain in my prayers. May God Bless You. God's Hands

Dear Friends, We have been researching the options. There is only one other than submitting to the prison sentence. We can file an appeal at the state supreme level. This level of appeal is not guaranteed and after horrendous expense for filing, they can refuse to hear your issue and then the sentence is imposed. Our lawyer would file the same arguments he has previously used to no avail. We have spoken with a very good attorney who also agrees that our chances of success are extremely slim. He would put the time into the brief it needs but is not optimistic about it getting anywhere. His retained is fifteen thousand dollars. Up to now we have already paid close to thirty thousand and still have a balance due. We are researching our means at this time. We are a lower middle class income family. Our savings and whatever is exhausted. There are some options such retirement things etc. This weekend is our only time to think on it. Due to time constraints we need to act by Monday morning. I pray that God leads us in this decision. We could very well be paying fifteen thousand and possibly more for nothing. The court could refuse to hear it. The only good would be that we stood up and fought the good fight. This court after all that could refuse to listen. Please pray that we receive guidance in our decision and options. We are seriously considering this action.

Dear Peace37: Thank you so much for taking time to pray for me when your heart is so burdened with your own needs. What a beautiful and selfless thing it was for you to do for me. Especially because my financial situation is so insignificant against your struggles for your son. I pray that God rewards your prayer, love and patience with his abundant love. I wish I had read your message before today, so that I could have offered prayers that you are guided to make the right decision. But I know that you have prayed on it extensively and others have as well and I have complete confidence in the Lord that you were given the right answer. Whatever that answer was, trust that it is God's will and that this horrible situation will have perfect resolution by His Divine Hand. I will continue to pray for Roy and you and for those in authority over him. God knows exactly how to reach them and how to take care of Roy. I know this must be very hard and a very trying time. But I also know that God is bigger than all of our problems and is well able to handle them no matter what the enemy says.

Jesus I pray that You will just show up and show out. That You will be exalted above all else and above all others even when it looks like the enemy has won. The battles of impossibility are the ones You handle best. I thank You and Praise Your Holy Name. Amen.

Dear friends,
As of last Sunday evening we had decided to retain the new attorney. What good is money if you feel you haven't given your all to saving your son. Ironically I had very little funds to access but my 81 year old mother came through with five thousand dollars, my single sister out of state sent two thousand, the medical supply company who supplys Roy Jr.'s needs has sent a donation of one thousand five hundred. After that I cashed some stocks my husband had in the company where he works, all in all by Monday we had 10,600.00 paid. The ministers at my church have started a volunteer defense fund. I guess upon hearing the appeals courts decision many many people approached them asking how they could help physically, emotionally, and financially. To say the least I am overwhelmed.
Roy Jr. seems very upbeat. I think he has wanted to fight back legally all along but didn't want to offend the family of his friend who died. They have viciously attacked him verbally over and over during court hearings. It has almost been more than he can bear. Yet, still when I found his "suicide" note, it included a provision requesting us, his family, to continue his practice of placing flowers on Julie's grave every Christmas time in her honor from him. The accident occured on December 28th of 1997.
We realize in retaining this attorney that if we get a Supreme Court hearing the expenses could grow. It is also an unbelieveable amount of money to spend knowing it could be for nothing. But since we made the decision to do it we have all felt relieved and at peace.
Thank you all so much for the prayers and concerns. I can't tell you how much it up lifts me to sign on and read your comments.
Kathy, the verses are perfect and I intend to copy them and paste them for my son to read. I read verse cards at night before going to sleep. I like to think they are guidance regarding particular issues I am thinking of. I am very familiar with some of these and yes, they do give me strength and hope. Even when we have been in our darkest times I have never given up on God. I have wondered why we must wait but I haven't given up.
I again thank you all and will continue to pray for you and yours. This last week had been so hectic I hadn't had time to access this channel. I was hoping to find entrys from you waiting here.

Dear God, thank you so much for all these new friends and believers. It means so much to me to find them, to hear their selfless compassion. The world needs unjudging, compassionate people. It was the way of your son and the way of my heart. I pray that you will help me be the comfort to them that they have been to me. Some people have declared computers evil things. In this venue I have found a means of conversing with others and helping my faith strengthen and grow.
God, bless all of them and help them with the concerns of their lives. Give them hope, strength, love, and above all, give them your peace. Through all of this you have given me those virtues, please grace these wonderful people with them also.

For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness". Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
