Prayer Circles

I pray Lord Jesus, that You lay Your hands on Javan, and take the evil that has taken possession of him away from him. Dear Merciful and ever loving and compassionate Christ return this child back to his familyn as he once was. I who work to only serve You request this humbly so this good family can once agin feel Your presence within. All children are children of Yours so reclaim this son again. Humbly, Your Messenger

I was told that your own past requires that you be assured that Javan is not supernaturally afflicted. Evil delights in his changes of disposition for the chaos and pain they cause, but Evil does not dictate them.

However, you know the sources of his anguish. Why do you pray for protection from the Devil when men and women of low ethics surround this child? Battle those forces of men which besiege him and leave the Devil in Hell where he belongs.

Pray for the strength to act in his best interests when others in his life cannot or will not. If you cannot accept this responsibility, pray for God to send another to relieve you of the duty of it, but know that his afflictions are mortal at their roots and that you *do* have the power to affect them.

Sounds like Jay has an extensive list of shock value behavior. The worse he acts, the more he thinks he will be able to yank your chain. Environment is probably 75% of the problem, and he seeks to impress his buddies who more likely than not encourage him to act out. If you want to help Jay, first you need to realize that he is not possessed by something forcing him to act the way he has been acting. It is his choice to act the way he does. Lay down ground rules, behavior you will and will not accept, and stick your your guns, once you draw the line it is drawn no moving it back a little. If he want to remain living with you he must start making better behavior choices. You must mean what you say for empty threats will only serve to enable him to change nothing. I pray that God will show you ways you can deal with Jay effectively, and help him help himself. I pray you will have strength and courage to help Jay pull himself away from folks he does not need to be around. In Jesus' Name I Pray for Jay and for you. Amen.
