Struggling with Academics and Suicide

Teenage Daughter having difficulty with suicide.

School is very difficult for her and her prayers have gone unanswered. She feels like she must kill herself, because if she does not do well, she may not be able to go to college.

We have three resources she could try. We hope she will contact one of them as soon as possible. She deserves to get help, and to get it sooner rather than later. 1. If she is in the U.S., she can call 1-800-SUICIDE any time, day or night. When she calls this free number, she will be connected immediately to a caring, trained counselor in her region. The sooner she makes this call, the better. (helplines worldwide) 2. If she can hold on for a few days, free anonymous crisis counseling is available by e-mail from an international charity called The Samaritans. By sending an e-mail to jo@samaritans.org she will receive a caring response within 24 hours. 3. There is a website she may find helpful, called Suicide: Read This First. She is in our prayers. 	gorky6 5/16/2009 15:37	P.S.Aanita sometimes we have to take smaller steps to accomplish what we're after.God directs our steps.I went to college for 1 year,but it wasn't for me.I worked a while and then took the test for the Army.I passed and join up.You too have a life to live to bring glory to God.Trust in the lord and he will guide your steps.
