A young man very, very dear to my heart

This prayer circle is for those suffering from the abuse of alcohol and drugs. I would like to request the prayers of my belief net partners to pray for them that God will strengthen them and able them to let go.

Guy is a very special man in my life. He has been struggling with an addiction of alcohol and drugs for a very long time. He unfortunately had this addiction when I met him. He has been in and out of detox. But nothing seems to be strong enough to help him overcome this. I have turned to the only thing that I know will help and that is prayer. Prayer not only helps, it gets results. We have been having so many problems.I am hurting for him because I am afraid of the road that he is traveling. My family hates him. I understand their concern, but it bothers me. I have been prayring and God has spoken to me and told me to stand still and see his salvation. I truly feel that God will do whatever he needs to do to get his attention. Please pray for him and so many others that I know are good people, but because of this demonic spirit, people seem to feel that they are worthless.

	okellyo 10/7/2005 00:18	Praying for Guy's recovery from his battle with addiction. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers to remember the Serenity prayer. It is also hard for those who love the addicted person, so I am praying for you as well. Stay strong for him. God Bless You Both.
