Please pray for peace and comfort

Richard is the husband of Sally Duhon, a leukemia patient who passed away today, March 12, 2006.

Sally was a wonderful, caring, loving and lovely person, an extraordinary wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She always did what she could to relieve the suffering of family and friends alike and knew that money is never as important as love.

Sally came out of remission last fall, had a serious relapse this month (March 06), and passed away in her sleep surrounded by her husband, family and friends this afternoon, March 12.

Please remember Sally's soul and remember her devoted husband, Richard, in your prayers, meditations, or spiritual rituals, that he find the peace and comfort of the Lord in these lonely, dark days of grief and as he continues on in his life's journey.

Please, Lord God Almighty, if it is your will, please spare Sally from the pain of this cancer. Please stay in her heart and keep it beating, and please go into her spinal fluid and rid her of this aggressive cancer. Please bring Sally back home to us here on this earth who love her, and allow us more years with her by our sides before she comes home to you, her Creator, to be by your side for eternity. Please also soothe the soul of Richard, Sally's husband, and use your love for mankind to fill the hole in Richard's heart that Sally's cancer has ripped open. Please help Richard find the peace of mind and will to go on with his life, with or without Sally. If it is your will, please ease the suffering of these two beautiful people who live their lives in the reflection of your love, and who share their love and their hearts with those of us who are lucky enough to know them.
In your name, Almighty and Just Lord, Amen.
