The family of Wayne & Barbara Turner of Chesterfield, VA. would like to add our condolences for the tremendous loss of a great great human being, competitor, husband, father, grand-father, friend & hero to millions the world over in the NASCAR community.

My husband was 1 year away from Rookie NASCAR status when we first married & gave it up because of me & the children. I know exactly where they are now in their grief. They are in our hearts and prayers, May God keep his family and all others in His watchful grace and loving care, the Turner family.

I would like to add my prayers to the millions of others shocked by his death.
May God grant his family and friends the strength needed to get through this terrible time. God Bless.

My family would like to send our thoughts of sympathy out to the Dale Earnhardt family. May God bless them with the strength needed to cope with this horrible loss. I just want to add, my 8 yr old son absolutely adored Dale, he was his HERO. I am very proud that my little boy looked up to such a wonderful man. Dale was loved and admired by even the smallest fans.

Please bless the Earnhardt family and all his fans. For some reason unknown it was his time to go. We will miss him but I know he is up in heaven looking down on us all. He was one of the true role models for this world to look up to. We needed him here but you called him home. Someday we will get to be with him again. To his family send peace to their souls and may Dale rest in peace.

Dear Heavenly Father, I would ask Lord for you bring your loving and healing touch over the Earnhardt family in this time of tragedy. Bring the holy spirit down upon them, give them the strength and courage to make it through each day. Dale lost his life doing what he loved. He is looking down on us right now, with the King of Kings. There is no greater feeling that knowing that. One day soon, the Earnhardt family will be reunited with their legend.

I am sending many prayers to the Earnhardt family. And my hope is that each day brings many blessings. As Dale Jr. races each race may he take a piece of his father with him, knowing that his dad will always be with him. As one of my favorite songs says, Your candle burned out long before, your legend ever did. His legend will live on and on in my heart as well as many others like me. Father, I pray for the Earnhardt family as they go through this hard time in their life. I also pray that each of them find the strength in their hearts to carry on day to do. Also father, keep Dale Jr. safe as he continues racing. In your name I pray, AMEN!! I will always love you Dale, You will ALWAYS BE NUMBER ONE to me!!!!!!!

My prayers go out to his family and especially his kids. i know what it is like to lose a dad. Especially right in front of you. i hope god blesses that family and gives them strength through this hard time. to his family he was my idiol since i was 12. and apart of me died that day to.

On January 27, 2001 I mourn the death of my grandfather, so I know what you, the Earnhardt Families and Friends are going through. Despite the circumstances that bring about his death and the fact that he loved what he did, there will still be questions of why my father, grandfather, brother, uncle, etc. But the truth is, God knows what He is doing and the purpose for His action. It is my prayer that God Glory shines bright above any circumstances that you all may/are facing at present. Earth has no sorry that Heaven can not cure. And may the awesome peace of God that passeth all understanding keep your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:7).

Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with his family. My husband was a big fan of his. He will be truly missed. I pray that God's great love be with his family in this time of need.

i really feel like we have lost a great dale was my hero my thoughts and wishes go out to th earnhardts i dont know that the sport will ever be the same or if i will be able to watch some one else race dales car i think they should retire the legendary number three

We morn Dale Earnhardt in the Gordon household. Each of us had a favorite race driver. My husband's was Dale. We were stunned, angry and then saddened by seeing the crash and finding out the final outcome. Our daughter cried when she heard what had happened. We cheered for Dale through many races both in our home and at the race track. God has blessed us all with his courage. He is with his friends in Heaven. We pray daily for his family here on earth that they are able to deal with their grief. May the Jesus be we Teresa and her family in their time of grief.

We honor you this evening with one of your children that came home this past week give the Earnheardt family and fans and the other racers a peace from this tragic event. also Lord we ask that you be with Dale Jr and the other racers this sunday at rockingham put your hand over that race to protect the racers, and we thank you for this Lord Amen
