Dorothy K
Miss

Young woman faces expulsion from her University due to a mistake that offers little defensive evidence; she faces losing her family's support, a lower 5-figure sum on a high-interest loan, and her beloved career in science.

Proctor has chosen to dismiss circumstantial evidence that proves no motive or need to cheat given records&performance in the paper in which cheated was alleged.
I appeal on her behalf for your prayers and compassion: all she ever wanted to do was help others, &is still working towards the hoped-for double major, double hons degree in sciences. Iam a fellow student, &appeal to you to pray for the Proctor, that he may overlook his own bias, resentments, &personal dislike, &see the good in her.
Her advocate, councillor, &friends are convinced of her innocence, but the Proctor holds absolute power of decision. She is desperate to retain her place at University, &graduate to be the brilliant scientist I know she can be.
Please pray for the light to come upon the Proctor. This has badly shaken her faith in herself, &in the University system, to the point of opening a committed Christian up to the possibilities of suicide.
She is really slipping, &could do so much good in the world. God Bless You All,Thank you.

We're sorry Dorothy feels so badly right now. It sounds as if she would benefit from talking to a caring person who is trained to help. We have three resources she could try. We hope she will contact one of them as soon as possible. She deserves to get help, and to get it sooner rather than later.

1. If she is in the U.S., she can call 1-800-SUICIDE any time, day or night. When she calls this free number, she will be connected immediately to a caring, trained counselor in her region. The sooner she makes this call, the better. (helplines worldwide)

2. If she can hold on for a few days, free anonymous crisis counseling is available by e-mail from an international charity called The Samaritans. By sending an e-mail to jo@samaritans.org she will receive a caring response within 24 hours.

3. There is a website she may find helpful, called Suicide: Read This First.

She is in our prayers.
