Gracious, everloving and everliving God, we know You continue to hold Chris in your mercy; may he continue to heal physically and emotionally, growing stronger daily. Help him to not be afraid to ask for help from You and from those who are Your instruments. May Your grace enable him to understand that there is good to be gained even in adversity. Bless those whose hands bring healing, love, and care to his hands and his heart. Give him the ability to return those gifts in good time. And, in all things begun, continued, and ended in You, may he continue to know and feel your presence daily, as we humbly ask all this in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and teh Holy Spirit, now and forever. AMEN. |

Lord I pray for this man and all the other firefighters who were injured in this fire. Bless them Lord for what giving spirits they have to make this line of work one in which they give so purely and so unconditionally. Bless their families too as they heal and return to their jobs. |
