My son is also addicted to drugs. He is now in a halfway house attempting to recover. Prayers got him there and only prayers will keep hime there. Never give up hope. God does things in his own time. God bless you and your family.

Dear Lord Jesus;
might your tender mercies surround Ben right now.Please free him from these addictions that have become so much a part of his life.help him to see how He is being deceived by Satan and might his eyes and heart be open to thy truths.Help him oh Lord to see that it is not enough to believe in you for even the devil does that and shudders at the thought;but may he open his heart And truly commit his life to you.Might he realize the life style he has encountered leads merely to unhappiness and destruction.That A life lived apart from you is A life being livved in vain.I pray those loved ones And family members in Ben's life who know you personally as Lord and savior might be instrumental in letting this light so shine before Ben that he will desire to know the happiness and joy that only you can give to our lives.Bless thosewho hold Ben up in Prayer daily for you tell us through your word that the prayers of A righteous person avails much.

It is always better to light one candle...please, if you have not yet, please try the 12 step program of ALANON or NARANON. I have been clean for 27 years (since I was 22). Pray for Ben and find a program for you.

Fathre God - I know the hurt and pain of this mother. for I, too, have suffered with my son. God, we pray that you will help us to continue to love and nourture these precious children that you have given us. They must fight their own battle with Satan but we know that You can force Satan out of their lives and that they can look up to you for all of the power, grace and mercy tht they need to fulfill your purpose for their lives. We pray Oh God for Ben, for my son, and for all the families and children out there who have succumbed to these deadly add8ctions. Help us God, to stamp them out and to reclaim our children for your Kingdom. Amen.

Lord, please give Ben, and his mother in particular, the strength, wisdom and faith to turn to you in this and every hour of need. I pray that they place their burdens at your feet, and truly leave them there every day, every moment, every single time when fear, anxiety, sadness, anger, frustration, or any other burden be upon their shoulders and in their hearts. I pray that they feel your presence and know that you are God.

TO BEN AND HIS MOTHER:
I am an addict and alcoholic. I spent countless thousands on drugs, and realized that that problem stemmed from a drinking problem that started many years before the drugs entered. I am the one, like Ben, that believed in God. I am the one, like Ben, that knew in his heart that there was a loving God, as loving as my mother and more, that cared for every bit of my being. I was also one, like Ben, that even still, struggled with, and continue to struggle with addiction. The only solution to addiction, Ben, and Ben's mom, is to let something outside of yourself take control. Ben, you don't have the control necessary to fight this fight alone, and as soon as you realize you have a partner in God, and in your mother, and eventually everything around you that is good, you will have a lighter load, easier days, and brighter prospects in every facet of your life.
"Come to me and I will give you rest" is what Jesus said. It is true. You CAN feel the rest of normalcy, you CAN feel secure in this day's sobriety/cleanliness, you CAN see your life as worth living and learn again, learn again to love yourself and others as you know you have the ability to.
Ben must want to feel peace and hapiness. All other roads lead to a personal hell on earth, if the single road to peace is not taken. Ben, see through the glass, the vial, whatever your drug was, and see the day that follows. It is a cloudy, miserable time that always, always, always follows the binge. Turn to a different path instead when the feelings arise, and see a new, brighter path that always, always, always, leads to peace, love, understanding, grace and healing. That path is love, and since we addicts have a difficult time with giving and receiving love without the addiction getting in the way, we need others to help us focus on love again. ASK for help when you need it. ASK for help when you don't. Be grateful for the good days, be grateful for the days that are difficult, but which you got through.
I pray for you Ben, and Ben's mother, always.

May the Holy Spirit take the evil away from Ben and thoroughly cleanse his body and spirit and allow Ben to live a clean life and a spiritutal one as well.

Lord, we lift Ben up to you. We know You can heal all things. Lord, if Ben needs professional help, we pray tthat you would guide them in the right direction. We pray, Lord, if tuff love is needed that ou would give those around him the strength to give tuff love and to not be enablers. I know how easy it is to be an enabler out of love. Lord, it takes a lot of love to stop being an enabler an to give the help that he so dsperately need. I also know how hard it is to drop one off at a house of help and say et out, you are on your own. I thank you Lord. daily for the help you gave my son and the strenght you gave me to do the right thing. With our help I know they too can do it. I know how hard it is to be told you don't love me any more, if you did you could not do this to me. Thank you Lord for giving me the courage to do it because it was your will. I thank you Lord, everyday, when my son tells me I did the right thing and if I hadn't he would not be with us today because he now realizes the drugs and alcohol was killing him. Thank uou Lord for interceding in the way that only you can. Lord give this mother the strength that you gave me to do what is right for he beloved son. Lord if I can be of help to this family, lead the way. Let them know that through you all things are possible. I never thought I would see my son clean and sober again but thanks to your loving mercy he is both today and gives thanks every day for the love and courage you gave us to get the help for him that he neded even though he said at the time "it will never work". Lord, again we lift Ben up to you and ask that you give them the courage to seed the help he needs. These things we ask, in your Holy name, Amen and amen.

Father God, In the name of Jesus, please cover Ben with the precious blood of Jesus and remove the demon of substance abuse from him. Cover his mother, family and friends as well because addictions affect all those in the life of the person suffering. Lord please let Ben know that he is forgiven through your blood and through Your great sacrifice. Give Ben and his loved ones strength, guidance and peace. In Jesus' glorious name, I pray. Amen.

I am coming to you this morning in the name of Jesus asking you to lay your healing hands on Ben. Enable him to do the things he must do to get better, Dear God. I ask that you strengthen the family in this time so they can go through this trial and onto tribulation. Bless them all in the name of Jesus. You said that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. Help them Lord! I ask these things in Jesus' name, AMEN

Hi God, Look at all the wonderful prayers for Ben, many from other recovering addicts like myself. Ben is so lucky to have all this love coming his way. Bless his soul, and help him experience the spiritual awakening that will change his life for the better. Thank you for helping his family as well. My friend Tom also needs help, as he suffers in his active addiction. God, too many suffer at the hands of this deadly disease. Thank you for guiding us ALL through these dark nights. Love to all. Dear Lord, Please touch Ben and his family. Help his family to be strong as they weather this addiction storm. Lord you said in your word that if we ask and believe in what we are asking it shall be done. So Lord, I am asking you to free this family of this terrible addiction. Lord please let Ben see that he can look to you everytime he feels the need to drink or indluge in alchol. Father let him see that the devil is out to seek and destroy him.
