Jeremy's And Other Childrens Fight Against Juvenile Diabetes

Please say a prayer for Jeremy, my son who is 3 1/2 yrs old and all children who have Juvenile Diabetes. A cure must be found!

Jeremy was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes almost one year ago this coming Memorial day. He is one of the bravest little boys I know, as all of the kids who have this disease. The world must find a cure for juvenile diabetes before more children are affected. These children are bombarded with finger sticks to check their blood many times a day. Then insulin shots before or after every meal. Some have more shots given if they cannot control their sugar levels.Their adult life expctancy is shortened by 15 years. Growing into adulthood health concerns are tremendous. Many are life threatening. One child in the world with this devastating disease is too many. It must be stopped. What ever your religion is a prayer would be welcomed for these children.
Thank you,
Jeremy's Mom

To my Jeremy,
All my life I drempt of a little boy like you. The blonde/brown hair, blue eyes, cute nose and a smile and laugh to melt my heart. Daddy and I tried so long to have you. When I found out I was pregnant with you I was so excited I wanted to shout it out to everyone. Actually, I think I did. We never found out while I was pregnant if you were a boy or a girl, daddy wanted to be surprised. I new you were a boy! In fact we only picked out a boys name. While in labor I told daddy that we had to think whick if we had a girl. But with-in minutes you were born and my dream came true. You were so tiny you looked like a little cornish game hen. Skinny little thing. I loved you from the time I new I was pregnant with you, but the love I felt when I saw you and held you was so different it took over my whol being. You'r were my little guy. Well your a big boy now and dealing with so much. I know its hard for you to understand. Daddy and I try as much as possible to make it easy for you. If we could we would take it all away for you. Your my buddy. I love you. Especially when we have mommy-Jeremy time at night and we read stories before bed. Especially Dr.Seuss stories.
I love you.....MORE!
Mommy

A Prayer for Children:
Blessed G-D. you have created life to begin with childhood, a time of innocence, laughter, and exploration. Bless, we beseech you,the children of this world. Grant unto them the nurture they need for strong physical growth, keen minds, balanced emotions, and a spiritual life. Send unto them teachers to inspire an inquiring and discerning heart, to enable curiosity toward their surroundings, and a knowledge of this global village. Bless them with love, hope, and vision, and keep them ever in your unfailing compassion and protection. Amen
