Asalamu Alaikum sister.

If it is something very personal you need to tun to Allah alone.

Remember Allah sometimes leads people astray for some reason now and then. The most vital thing is to keep the love and awe of Allah in your heart by prayer and dhikr, even if you miss most of the prayers, just do what you can. Sometimes going for a walk alone helps me also.

But seek help from Allah over any human's advice, Allah knows, and I attest He is real.

Again, email me and inshallah I will be able to help you with difficulties. I am not a strict conservative except with myself mashallah!

Sis., the main thing to remember is that spirituality is like food. There's some good & some bad. You have to take in good spiritual food that nourishes the soul. Allah is the source of ALL love. I know we regular Muslims don't tend to talk much about Allah's love but Allah loves us all. His mercy & grace far exceeds His wrath. He never leaves us. Don't despair or give up hope because Allah can help us through any situation. Pray to Allah through the proper means of approach which is our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and ask the Prophet (SAW) to pray to Allah for your upliftment. Allah says in the Qur'an that he grants intercession for whom He wills. Surely, he listens to the prayers of Nabi Muhammad (SAW). "Say not that they are dead..." Sometimes in our lives we lose strength, and there's nothing left but us and Allah. When those times pass, the new wisdom provides twice as much strength as before.
