Newborn baby recovering from severe jaundice

Dechen Dorjee suffered severe jaundice and was hospitalized in intensive care for more than a week. He is now recovering at home. Prayers and blessings for his health and comfort, and that of his parents, are welcome.

Dechen Dorjee was born January 12 to the delight of his parents Kalsang Dolma and Chemi Thargyal and his sister, Paljor Dolma. By mid-month, he was hospitalized in the ICU with an extremely high bilirubin level. He underwent three blood transfusions and was dangerously ill. Prayers for his continued recovery--and for the recovery of all infants in danger--are welcome. This wonderful family are devout Tibetan Buddhists who immigrated to the U.S. three years ago. May they be free of mental and physical suffering.
