She's 66 years old battling brain cancer.

My mother is the most beautiful person I know. She's managed to raise five kids on her own. My dad was killed when I was ten years old and her first husband just up and left her with two boys.

Nanette Johnson was diagnosed October 2000. At that time her doctor gave her 6 months to live. Through prayer and a little faith, I still have my mother and only friend. She's had 4 open brain surgerys where they've removed tumors. As well as radation to the brain and chemo. Because in the beginning, the cancer started in her sternum. We all have watch God amaze us. Now the attacker has a different approach, her spinal area and brain stem. Remember Nanette in your prayers and her two daughters, Dawn Baird and Andrea Baird. Three son, Rodrick Thompsoms, Maurice Johnson, Michelle Johnson. And grandkids Brooklyn Myles, Henry Griffin. We are Nanette's strenght. God bless you for taking the time to read my nothers story. Besides God, she's all we ever had!!

	mylesdr 8/13/2007 19:12	Thank you God for blessing me with my mother as long as possible. Her wings were awarded on 7/18/07. I ask that she'd remain with me until you knew I could handle the loss. I don't know? Maybe I'm a brat, however bless my mind, heart , and soul whereas I do not become lost in this world. I ask in your name to continue to have favor on my family and mother's soul. So be it! In Jesus name..... Amen
