Shalonda G.

My Co-worker is an only child who lost her Mom to the effects of drugs. Her Dad was also a drug addict, who has "fallen off the wagon". He's been diagnosed with COPD(this eventually killed her Mom)and is very sick.

Dear Lord: Shalonda would like her Dad to accept Christ before he passes away. Please help her through this trying time as she has already suffered a difficult childhood due to her parent's illness. She has been so stressed out and has expressed to me that although she has a friend in Jesus, her Mom was her best friend and she wishes she was here to help her through this. She doesn't want to cut her Dad off because he is so ill, but she doesn't want to be around him while he's in the condition he's in. The stress has affected her health. Please help her Dad to release that nasty habit and accept Christ. He is very ill and Shalonda would like him to "be ready". Amen!
