William Rehnquist
For Supreme Court Chief Judge William H. Rehnquist

U.S. Supreme Court Chief Judge Rehnquist has been diagnosed and is undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer.

Despite earlier reports that after being hospitalized at Bethesda Naval Hospital for a week Chief Judge Rehnquist would return to the Supreme Court bench this past week, he has not done so. Public information about his illness is scarce and his privacy should be respected. Note that doctors who specialize in oncology have stated they believe he has the most aggresive form of this disease based on the treatment regimen that was disclosed. Although many people may not agree with Chief Rehnquist's court decisions and opinions, we must all rise above politics and pray for God's healing of this man who has served the public for much of his life.
