May the partisans on both sides act in a moral and democratic way. May the voters on both sides have patience with long lines and with each other. May the process earn the trust of all Americans.

We pray that your spirit fill the hearts of the voters, poll workers, observers, and candidates. Please fill them with your grace so that they help each other--regardless of party--to hold an election that brings this country closer together. In Christ's name we pray. Amen.

	zeta 11/2/2004 10:39	Gracious God, bless today's election. Grant the voters wisdom and patience. Grant partisans on both sides the wisdom to see they ultimately hurt their cause if they undermine democracy. Please take all the passions animating people on all sides and make of it a force for good. Guide us as we make this important choice of a person to lead the country in the coming 4 years. And grant us a result everyone agrees is legimate. Amen

Whoever, is elected as our next President, I hope he would allow you to use and guide him in the correct way. Father, I also ask if you would make sure everything works as your plans, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
