Suffer from Bipolar disorder

For all the friends, family and others who are involved with or have family with bipolar disorder.

I pray for healing of my son's mental health, that some day he will find happieness and peace. I pray he will be able to function and have a great relationship with others and God as I keep faith that one day health insurance and medications will actually help those who suffer as well as there families.

	classysena 11/11/2004 01:53	dear bunnyfuzz, I will hold you and your family in prayer for I know all too well the effects that bipolar can have on a family.my husband ,my son,and I all suffer from the effects of this disorder.But there is hope ALWAYS hope.My husband and I are very involved in church, which without the help of the Lord we'd all be in awful shape.But through the power of God ,we are doing well.God is ABLE and ALL things are possible. I often read palsms when I become depressed or I hit a "low" I find it very comforting .You and your son will be in my prayers.I am not sure of his age but mine is only 10 ...such an awful young age to deal with this disorder but I NEVER LOSE HOPE! My 10 yr old recently was baptized and went to an alter of prayer so I KNOW the Lord is working in his life. I feel that my son will someday help those that are like him ...that God has something great in store for his life,pherhaps this is what is in store for your son??

I too suffer from bi-polar and for years I drank and did many drugs to dull the pain of my illness only to find that I was making myself more mentally ill...and no one not even my sons could get thourgh to me...I just woke up one morning and decided I was sick of being sick evey day and my drinking and drugs just make me even more ill then I already was...but you sure couldn't convice me of that...it took many and i mean many times in rehab before i finally got it!!!I just kept felling down and picking myself right back up and i was willing to do anything to beat this illness and just have PEACE in my life,that's all i really wanted was some Peace...well it's been 5 years now that I have been clean and sober and i now take 3 different meds a day for my bi-polars and i finally have found pease...and I will pray for you daily that you too will find the same peace...god bless...Debij
