Consumer needs "working disabled" Medicaid approved so she can improve quality of life

St. Dymphna, patron saint of the mentally ill, we humbly implore your powerful intercession with Jesus and Mary, the Health of the Sick. The miracles of recovery wrought through your aid give us hope that you will help us in our present needs.

Saint Dymphna, patron saint of the nervous and mentally ill, give us strength and courage in fighting the darkness and despair of mental illness, stigma, and isolation.

Saint Dymphna, through the love of Christ, heal patients battling depression, mood disorders, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and psychosis. Help them to transcend turmoil, prejudice, and indignities of these afflictions. Give them recovery and ignite the desire to help each other.

Ease the suffering of families and friends. Take away their exhaustion of body, mind, and spirit. Sustain them in the unconditional love and aid of God.

Teach doctors, nurses, HMO systems, government programs, and pharmaceutical companies the virtues of mercy, patience, and generosity. Bless our good doctors, nurses, and advocates. Repair a system that casts many into the abyss of illness.

Empower consumers to seek assistance so that they may recover and lead lives of dignity, purpose, and wholeness.
