Kathy L.
Prayers for a speedy recovery!

I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go --Abraham Lincoln

On July 7, Kathy was riding her motorcycle on the freeway. A car illegally existed the carpool lane, ran into her and threw her off the bike into the center divider.

She suffered serious, multiple, life-threatening injuries. She was semi-comatose for 2 weeks, one lung was punctured, the other collapsed, both legs were broken and knees shattered and numerous other contusions, scrapes and bruises.

Kathy has had a series of surgeries, the last to set both legs and reconstruct her knees. After 6 weeks in the hospital, she is finally home with a long recovery period ahead; including at 3 to 6 months in a wheel chair as well as physical therapy / rehab after that.

Kathy is married with two small children. She and her family need our prayers.
