Dear Heavenly Father,
At this time I come to you and ask you to give Jesse a special blessing,please help her to find the answer that she needs with your help to overcome her eating disorder please give her the strength that she needs in order to get threw this help her to feel your comfort surrounding her and may she find peace of mind within herself. Amen

Lord, I pray for Jessie today as she goes through a difficult time in her life. I pray for her health and recovery. Please lend her your guidance and wisdom as she looks to you for answers. And reassure her that when she sees only one set of footprints on the sand, it was then that you carried her. In your name we pray, amen.

Jessie; Can I be honest with you? I also have a VERY poor body image and have learned that men PREFER women who are curvy and veluptuous. Your goal weight is EXTREMELY unrealistic, in fact I look at people that small and think "I wonder what's really wrong with them inside?". OK I'm not your mother but I had a friend who suffered with this for years. She's still struggling with it but with help she has overcome many of the bad behaviours and is now married to a loving man who appreciates her for who she is INSIDE!!!! Why are you doing this to yourself? Is there something inside that you need to change or accept about yourself? Are you taking it out on your outer body? Why would you want to destroy your teeth and cause scarring on your neck from throwing up like my friend did? It will be a constant reminder for the rest of your life of the abuse YOU have inflicted upon yourself. Don't do it! I pray for you and your strength to overcome this. God Loves You... why not let Him??? Best of luck to you! And remind yourself that food is an integral part of your HEALTH. I know so many large women from the gym that are so healthy they could beat any skinny girl in any physical competition!!!!

Jessie, have faith. It is something that wil always be in your life, I've been fighting bolemia myself for the past 16 years. You are never "cured". I still think about losing weight sometimes. Apparently you are meant to look the way you do for a reason. I still think about when I was younger and a size 4 but, also remembereven though you may not be making your self sick anylonger, you still stress the body if you try too hard. With patience, family, and trust in GOD you can overcome anything! My prayers are with you. Angel

Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up Jessie to You. She needs You to intervene in her situation which is beyond her own strength and power. You have all power, please be her strength and help her to overcome her eating problem. Let her know that she needs to trust and depend on You to help her in this situation. Lord, please be her healer and let her live a long and healthy life serving You. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Jessie you asked if we thought you had a problem or if you were just over-reacting. You have a problem and you're not over-reacting. You say your goal is to be 100-95 lbs.---your goal should be to listen to your Psychologist in order to understand why you want to be so thin that you are endangering your heart and the rest of your body. God gave you a healthy body to begin with and you can make it so again--with your prayers and determination. Find an interest that is more important than the way you look and that may help you also.

I am praying for you. My daughter also suffered with an eating disorder (anorexia) and with God's grace has recovered to be one of those who so strongly reflects God's love and grace on earth. I know it is hard Jessie, but I also know that you shine with God's love and grace too. I pray that God's love and grace surrounds you with a rainbow, Jessie. Take care of yourself so God can use your hands, your feet, your heart, your words to do God's will. You are important to me and you are important to God. Amen

Hang in there. 105 lbs. is thin enough for your height. Any more weight loss, and you could possilbly die. If you love yourself, please tell your doctor. In the meantime I'm praying for you. I'm really thin too (97 lbs. 5'1' age 16). And I try to gain weight. I think everyone complains about their weight. Someone's too "fat" and someone's too "thin". I think you should love yourself the way you are. God made you that way for a reason. So please don't give up. You'll get through this problem eventually. God is always with you.

Jesse, first of all, if you feel your psychologist is someone you need to lie to, find a different psychologist. This person should be someone you feel comfortable being honest with, even if the news is bad. A healthy weight for a girl your height is about 120 pounds, and the weight goal you're shooting for is scary. And deep within you, you know it's too thin, or you wouldn't have a question about it. Please, I beg you, find someone who can help you understand why you want to be so thin. I believe you have the strength within you to do it--just like you were strong enough to ask for help here. You have it within you to lead a healthy life; I know it! I pray that you are filled with God's strength as you fight this disorder.
