The end of terror
I am praying for a better world

I've been worried a lot lately about what the terrorists might do this summer. It seems the daily news does nothing but remind us how inevitable another catastrophic attack is, and I've been feeling frustrated because there's really nothing I can do about it but "wait and see" and "be vigilant". Then, last night, I realized (or Someone helped me realize) there WAS something I could do--I could pray.

I could pray for the abject failure of any terrorist efforts; I could pray for the strength I'll need to be of service if there is a crisis in the city in which I live; and I could pray (and work) for a day when terrorism is an unknown thing. Finally, I could ask all of you to pray, too!

I don't understand people--on whomever's "side"--who deliberately and purposely want to hurt other innocent people. And maybe it's not my place to understand. But I'll do what I can to work for peace with these prayers and whatever other actions I can think of.
