Getting past the grief

My Aunt has lost her self in her grief for her boyfriend. She needs what eever help she can get.

My Aunt lost the love of her life Dan January 12, 2004. He was the best thing that had ever happened to her. Dan was a truley incredible man. He helped my aunt raise her son. She met him when dan when she moved int an aprtment with her 3 year old son, he was the super. At first she thought he was a little odd. But that changed and they were together for ten years after that. Dan was killed in a car crash on 01/12/04 by a drunk driver. My aunt is complewtely lost, she had no idea how much she really cared for him until he was gone. Im afraid that her grief has overwhelmed her. She has grown cold and despondant. The only thing that keeps her going is her son. Please pray for her recovery. It doesnt matter what faith just that the power of positive prayer find her.

	LookUpNow 6/12/2005 13:46	May the Lord bring comfort and His love to your aunt. It is a difficult thing to lose your partner -- I was widowed at a young age and the pain of such a loss cannot be expressed or explained. Just pray for your aunt and be as available as you can for her. She may seem to push people away because of her grief, but don't take it personally and make the effort to stay connected anyway. At some point, she'll need you and will open up. It may be awhile, so stay strong and keep the faith. God bless you both.

	nonnyamy 7/9/2005 11:30	Thou7gh I did not lose my partner to death, I recently lost him to alcohlism. I am also suffering severely with that loss. I will pray that the arms of the lord envelope your aunt and show her the path in which to take to carry on. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
