A tortured soul who thought she was unloved

This circle was inspired by my very special friend whom I love with all my heart named Sherry, who now lays in a convalescent hospital in West Covina, CA., due to her misguided and failed attempt to take her own life in March 2003.

I would like this circle to be a place where the friends and loved- ones, not only of Sherry, but of all people who have lost friends/family due to failed suicide attempts, and as a result suffered: brain damage, become comatose beyond recovery, or fallen into vegetative states.
This will be a place where our indivdual prayers will be heard as one shared prayer. We can pray together and find comfort in our shared grief.
These prayers should be focused so the victims of these misguided, self-inflicted wounds are released from the confines of their fragile, earthbound, and broken shells. Let us pray that their tortured souls make it back home to their source. Free them from their bodies and minds and make their way to the next world to finally find the happiness they could not find in this one.
Through the releasing of their souls, we, the survivors will be able to move on and live our lives in this world knowing that our loved-ones have made a safe journey to Great Beyond, and have found peace at last.

I never knew Sherry, but a long time ago I knew another lost soul named Chris, who ended up just where she has by trying to 'off' himself. It is my sincere hope that if anyone reading this is contemplating suicide that they remember that if they fail, they could be here a lot longer and in even more pain. Not to mention the pain they would cause their friends and families. So, please never ever try.

I encourage everyone who has lost someone in this manner or knows someone who has, please guide them here so we can all pray together. With our prayers and supplications to the Lord I'm sure He will grant us them. I'm so glad there are circles like this. Thank you.

I want to take this moment to pray for Sherry and Chris and all the others out there whose bodies are still clinging to this life, that God would show His infinate mercy and grace upon their trapped souls and let them be reunited with Him in the time of His choosing. Godspeed you Sherry and Chris back into God's loving embrace. Just move toward the Light. In the sacred name of Christ I pray. Amen
