Barbara Delgado

My sister has been a prodigal since she has been 18. She is now 22 and she thinks that as long as her relationship with Christ grows she is okay to stay out there. In my honest opinion, God does not bless things that are not pleasing to Him.

Being a sister to a prodigal is hard. How can we (my mother and I) love and her and accept her? Only with the grace of God. My sister's name is Barbara. From where she was to where she is now, is a major difference and a shock to us all that love her. She first moved out when she was living here in TN then she moved to FL. Never coming home. So the question, how can I stillfocus on things? When she moved to Florida she was growing close to God. Then she started dating a guy at the church she was attending. Then they did not practice abstinence and now is pregnant. She wants our mother to move down there to help her and she still to this day is prideful and thinks that it is God's will to live on her own. I believe that God did not cause this to happen, but I know that He has His hand in it. For what is meant for evil God means for good and has a provision for this. I want others to talk with me and to pray with me and each other who have prodigal children or siblings.
