Dear Emily Grace and Debbie, and family,

Know you are in our thoughts and prayers, as if you were right next door. Congratulations on your 1st birthday recently, and your success in recovery from your heart surgery.

If you can imagine a little friend, with bright white hair and cool blue eyes, in a little seat just like the one Emily is in, that would be the picture I have somewhere of our now almost 24 year old son Will, about 23 years ago, in the same boat, facing many of the same hurdles...

I worked long on a note to tell you how well Will is doing and think it is deleted, so I will just send what I can at this moment, Debbie, to tell you that you are doing it -- keep asking all the questions and enjoy your days with your precious girl!

Dear Debbie,
At 6 mths old they said my son had Dounw's but Thank God the cromozone test showed he did not. He has alot of other difficulties Asperger(mild Down's), A.D.H.D.,LD & he doesn't process mentally the way you or I do. Hw say I love you by hearing it all the time not that he understands what it truly means. I read something in children's Hospital in New Orleans - God only give's you what he thinks you can Handle. I know sometimes it's very hard to handle & without the help of my dear Mother I'd of never made it. Now my son's 16, choose to live with his Dad we are divorced & has no contact with me at all. I pray daily for him because life is still going to be rough with his disabilities. Dear Lord Please be with Emily & Debbie like you have always been with me & Michael. Let your love & strength guide Debbie & help her through her daily needs. I will keep you and your BEAUTIFUL daughter in my prayers, My heart goes out to you, I also have a 13mon old little girl named Bailei and am also a single parent. And I do beleive that God will heal this baby, all you need to do is just claim it and start thanking God for your baby's healing and just wait on the manfestation. GOD IS GOING TO HEAL YOUR BABY.

May God bless you and your little one. These children are a blessing and a gift. It may be difficult in the beginning but each year you will see the beauty and magic of a Down's Syndrome child. The love they give to you is complete and total, they don't know how to hold back. My son Michael was a Down's Syndrome child and over the years has bouught the most perfect kind of love into my life. He recently passed away at the age of 36 years old. Treasure every moment, they go by in a blink.
