Soldier in Iraq

My youngest brother who is stationed in Iraq. He was the first male figure in my daughter's life and he's one of my best friends. One of the sweetest people you'll ever meet.

I remember helping my mom take care of my brother when he was a baby. Combine that with him being the youngest, I've always felt responsible for him as though he were one of my own kids. We became closer the past few years, after my daughter was born and I had to move back home. He had an impact in her life and she in his. It's only been here recently that we've stopped talking as much...since I fully put my trust in God and he has not yet. I just pray that he finds the Lord and that he, along with the other soldiers in Iraq, make it home safely to family, friends and loved ones.

Lord, I just pray that he will come to a saving knowledge of you, that he might know that you can be all things to him. I lift up our other young men & women who are serving our country in faraway places. Please be their protection and security.
