Lauren - A two week old baby girl.

This is a prayer circle for Lauren. A 2 week old baby girl born with a heart defect.

Lauren is almost 2 weeks old. When she was born everything seemed perfect. But at Lauren's one week check up the doctor noticed that her fingertips and the tips of her toes were a little bluish in color. After listening to her breathing and her heart the doctor told her mom to take her straight to the hospital. There her mom and dad heard the worst news, the left side of Lauren's heart had not developed. The doctor's have her on a respirator and feeding tube. They are waiting to see if her body will repair itself and if so she will need surgery to have a valve put in. If her heart does not correct itself there is little hope that she will survive much longer.
Please pray for Lauren and her family. Pray that the Lord will give this baby the miracle that she needs to survive. Pray for the mom and dad and family who are feeling so afraid and helpless. Pray that they receive peace and strength and know that the Lord is always by their side even in the darkest times.

Dear Lord, Please surround Lauren with Your love. Protect her from pain and strengthen her body. Let her know the joys of growing up and being with the family that loves her so much. Lord be with her family. Give them strength, show them a miracle that only You can make happen. Don't take her home too soon. Let them love her and experience the wonder that you created in her. Hear our prayers Lord. We lift them up to you. Amen.
