Letting Go

This is a prayer for a young girl who cannot let go of her painful past, and is destructive in relationships.

Please pray for Amber, she wants nothing more than to have real love, and she did- but something in her makes her believe that she doesnt deserve it, and she sabotages it. It is a painful, self destructive pattern that brings her so much pain- but this is a familiar place for her.She has had so much pain in her life, so much abandonment, so much loss. Pray that she will let go of her sadness and emptiness, pain and depression. Pray for Amber, that she will realize how beautiful and special she truly is, and that she will see what others see in her. Pray that she will let go, and really start LIVING, becoming the butterfly she is meant to be.

	starshinesthruclouds 7/6/2004 07:06	My soul cries for Amber because I, too, sounded just like her. I couldn't let go. Only with God's help could I get through it. I will pray for her to ask her to be willing to accept God's help and healing. Pray very hard. She is not alone.

	starshinesthruclouds 7/6/2004 07:15	I will pray that she is willing to accept God and to trust God that he has a better plan for her. Only through Him can we find healing and peace. "You may be one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person." My soul aches for Amber as I, too, couldn't let go. I still struggle with pain and angrish. Sad hours seem so long. Let Amber know she is not alone. There are many out there that have experienced the same deep pain, but have come to realize that it is God's way of molding us so we can be more open to accept him into our lives. Just remember how Jesus suffered to save our souls. The outcome is divine and ours will be too. Never, never, never give up.
