The Blinded Soldier from Afghanistan

Please pray for my husband PFC Kenneth Adams. He is in the US Army in Afghanistan and was accidentally shot by a friend cleaning his weapon. He has lost sight in both eyes and has traumatic brain injury.

PFC Kenneth Adams has only been in the Army for a little over a year. While away at his first deployment to Afghanistan with A/3-17 Cavalry he was accidentally shot in his head. A friend of his was cleaning his weapon and it discharged into Kenny. He was not expected to live more than 72 hours, but by God's good grace he is alive and has been since. He lost sight in both of his eyes and some of his brain was damaged. He is 22 years old and all who know him love him. He is an outstanding, strong, and loving man. He is a husband, son, brother and friend to many in Houston, TX. Please pray for him and his family in this difficult time.

Father we continue to believe in miracles concerning Kenny. We believe that You can restore his sight and that he will not be blind in the name of Jesus. We ask for a miracle and for hope where there is no hope. We call upon Your Spirit to show Himself Mighty for Your Glory in the intervention of Kenny's life. Father we thank You that it is done and we expect a great report. Father we do this so that You may be glorified and that all the honor and all the praise goes to You...in Jesus name...amen..!!!! We thank you for all we have and for our hardships. I know that you will not give us anything we cannot handle with love and our faith in you. We ask to protect our family and friends and to protect our marriage. Lord I ask that one day in your own time to let Kenny see again. Until that day comes I will be his eyes with your help. Please grant us patience and continue to bless him with your greatness. Let Kenny be a lesson to all, to never give up faith and hope and to always believe.
